SOLO PRACTICE
Have your space set up for a sensual practice, where you are comfortable, warm and relaxed. You will be activating your five senses, gather your favorite and most delicious treats or toys.
For smell: essential oils, fruits, flowers, etc.
For taste: fruits, chocolate, honey, etc.
For touch: your hands, lips and fingers, soft feathers, rose petals, fur etc.
For sound: your voice, music.
For sight: a mirror
This practice may include sensual touch and self-pleasure, listen to your body and decide what feels right for you.
Smell
Close your eyes or use the blindfold to heighten your other senses.
Bring an item like essential oils, fruit, or flowers close to your nose.
Inhale deeply, taking in the aroma slowly. Notice its texture, depth, and how it makes you feel.
Savor the experience as if you are smelling this scent for the very first time.
Taste
Select a treat like fruit, chocolate, or honey.
Slowly place it on your tongue and let it melt or chew it mindfully, fully savoring the flavor.
Pay attention to its texture, sweetness, tanginess, or bitterness.
Allow yourself to experience the pleasure of tasting without rushing.
Touch
Explore your body or skin using your hands or objects like soft fabrics, feathers, or lotion.
Run the object gently along your arms, face, legs, or anywhere that feels good.
Notice the sensation: Is it soft, silky, warm, or cool? How does your skin respond?
Touch yourself with curiosity and tenderness, honoring your body as a source of pleasure.
Sound
Play your favorite music, or whisper affirmations and soothing words to yourself.
Make sounds—hum, purr, or sigh—and feel the vibrations in your body.
Listen attentively to the layers of sound, whether it’s music, your voice, or the quiet around you.
Let yourself be fully present with the auditory experience.
Sight
If you used a blindfold, remove it slowly.
Take a moment to look at your surroundings or gaze at yourself in a mirror.
Notice the details: the colors, shapes, and textures around you or your reflection.
See yourself with fresh eyes, appreciating your beauty and uniqueness.
Close with 5-10 minutes to integrate and notice what came up for you during the practice.
